HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WEDDING PLANNERS? Over 10 years! We created our "Borrowed Bridesmaids" services in 2011. We each have backgrounds in customer service, communications, and art. After DIY-ing our own weddings and helping a few friends along the way, we realized that every couple deserves to have someone in their corner on wedding day, speaking on their behalf and helping ensure their vision comes to life. We know firsthand the frustrations that can come with hosting such an important event with little or no planning experience. And that was our main inspiration for this business.

HOW INVOLVED WILL WE BE IN THE PLANNING PROCESS? We are happy to help you on any level - from sharing advice and decorating ideas, or creating custom centerpieces and invitations, to helping you organize every detail while assisting with setup and coordination on your big day. WILL WE BE YOUR ONLY WEDDING CLIENT ON OUR BIG DAY? In most cases, yes! But if there happens to be another couple getting married the same day, we have two lead planners and several experienced helpers to ensure your wedding is perfectly executed. 

​

DO YOU WORK WITH COUPLES WHO LIVE OUT OF STATE?  We sure do - we’ve had clients who got married in Illinois, but lived as far away as Texas and even Hawaii! Video chatting technology is a fabulous tool, and you can still attend meetings and walkthroughs with your venue and local vendors. The Sapphire wedding bundle has everything you need, and our Extended Services will be the perfect finishing touches.

DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS? We offer The Emerald bundle for our not-so-local weddings, but reserve our more extensive Sapphire bundle for local clients only.

WE LIKE TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX, AND WANT A NON-TRADITIONAL WEDDING EXPERIENCE. CAN WE CUSTOMIZE THE WEDDING BUNDLES TO OUR UNIQUE NEEDS? Absolutely! We love weddings that give us a chance to flex our creative muscles.

 

 

DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN? Yes! We know that you have deposits to make with your venue, caterer, photographer, DJ, etc - so we’re very flexible, and are happy to set up a convenient payment plan that works with your budget.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? For your convenience, you can pay with a credit card through your client portal, and even set up automatic payments. Otherwise, payment arrangements can be made with CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, personal or cashier’s check, and cash.

​
